COVID-19

Whilst the government have confirmed lifting of restrictions from Monday 19th July 21,

L. Thompson Optometrists will not be changing it's policy on mask wearing.

We will still require you to wear a mask to enter the practice unless you are medically exempt. We have vulnerable patients we must protect along with protecting our staff. It is important to remember the pandemic has not ended. This guidance is in line with the advice from the College of Optometrists.

We thank you for your understanding and support.

Routine eye examinations are still available on a needs basis and when in the patients best interests.

We continue to maintain high levels of infection control, this includes PPE,  scrupulous hand and surface hygene as well as social distancing.

To minimise risk, all attendance at the practice is by appointment only.

If you feel you are having difficulty with your eyesight and would like an eye examination please phone us on 01260 270941 and we will guide you through the process.

Under these COVID restrictions we are still able to carry out repairs, adjustments etc.

We are able to supply contact lenses and can arrange home delivery if requested.
