COVID-19

Optometric practices must follow the guidance of our professional bodies and we are now in the green phase following the COVID 19 outbreak. The guidance from the College of Optometrists states:

'The UKHSA continues to recommend universal masking in all health care settings as a precaution to prevent the risk of transmission of respiratory infections including SARS-CoV-

All staff should continue to wear a fluid-resistant face mask in the green phase as instructed by UKHSA.

All patients visiting health care settings should continue to be recommended to use a face covering as recommended by each nations health system. '

We will encourage you to wear a mask to enter the practice unless you are medically exempt. We have vulnerable patients we must protect along with protecting our staff.

We thank you for your understanding and support.

We continue to maintain high levels of infection control, this includes PPE,  scrupulous hand and surface hygene as well as social distancing.

If you feel you are having difficulty with your eyesight and would like an eye examination please phone us on 01260 270941 and we will guide you through the process.

Under these COVID restrictions we are still able to carry out repairs, adjustments etc. We are able to supply contact lenses and can arrange home delivery if requested.
